The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 global goals adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. They provide a shared framework for addressing some of the world’s most urgent challenges, including poverty, inequality, environmental degradation, climate change, and access to opportunities for all.
The SDGs recognize that sustainable development can only be achieved when economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental protection are pursued together.
